AGONITH - The Origin

Emeric and Elara lived in a large manor in a settlement in the Fuego Forest. They got married and had a son, whom they named Malachi. From his birth, they noticed he wasn't an ordinary child, there was a mystery about him. Soon enough as he matured, he began to manifest powers, he commanded shadows and creatures seemed to revere him. These powered then became destructive, fearful of what he had become, his parents sought guidance from the Sibyl (seer). The sibyl warned them of the darkness that dwelt within his soul  -  therefore advising steps to be taken to get rid of him. His parents refused to abandon their child, hopeful that the love showed to him will neutralize the evil in him.

Tragedy struck one stormy night, when a group of travelers sought shelter in the village, among them was an Orion (mystical slayer). He perceived an anomaly and followed its stench till he got to Malachi's home. With zeal, he busted in and slew them thinking he had rid the world of evil. 

Unknown to him, the darkness in Malachi could not be extinguished. Enraged by the loss of his parents, he unleashed a wave of destruction upon the village, his powers being fueled by hatred and pain cut through the very fabric of reality itself. In the chaos that followed, Malachi was totally consumed by darkness, his humanity was stripped away until all that remained was a twisted abomination known as Agonith  -  A monster born from the depth of sorrow and despair.                                                               To curb his unrest, the Sibyl with other diviners performed rituals to fend him off, now the rituals done were to have been done earlier if not for his parent's refusal. At this time, the darkness has completely consumed him so instead of completely annihilating him, all the rituals could do was confine him to his parent's manor. But this confinement was short-lived.............
